01Convert

Convert anything to a printable file

Turn flat images into 3D reliefs and stencils, or convert CAD and mesh formats into clean, watertight STL and 3MF files your slicer will accept.

02Repair & check

Repair and check — before you waste filament

Half of failed prints start with a broken mesh. Fix holes, flipped normals and non-manifold edges, then verify wall thickness and printability.

How it works

Open a file

Image, mesh or CAD. Nothing uploads; processing runs in your browser via WebAssembly.

Convert, repair or check

With print-safe defaults: watertight, correct scale, manifold geometry.

Download and print

Get a slicer-ready STL or 3MF and hit print.

Why PrintReady3D instead of a random converter?

A random converter

Built for rendering, not printing

  • Uploads your file to someone else’s server
  • Output looks fine on screen, fails on the printer
  • One tool per tab — convert here, repair somewhere else
  • Free until the paywall appears mid-task
PrintReady3D

Built for the print bed

  • Private by design — files never leave your device
  • Every output is watertight, scaled and manifold
  • One workbench: convert, repair, check, price
  • Free means free — no account, no paywall halfway through a task
06FAQ

Questions, answered

Is PrintReady3D free?

Yes — every tool on the site is free to use, with no account needed. If we add paid options later, such as batch processing or an API, the free tools stay free.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All tools run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.

How do I convert an image to an STL file?

Drop a JPG or PNG into the Image to STL Converter, choose relief (heightmap) or stencil mode, adjust thickness, and download a watertight STL — about 30 seconds end to end.

What is the difference between STL and 3MF?

STL stores only a surface mesh; 3MF also packs color, materials, units and plate layout. For multi-color printing on Bambu or Prusa machines, export 3MF.

Will repaired files work in Cura, PrusaSlicer or Bambu Studio?

Yes — repair outputs watertight, manifold meshes with normals fixed, which is exactly what slicers require. If a file still fails, send it to us and we will fix the tool.

Can I sell prints made from my files?

Yes. Files you convert, repair or create with these tools are yours — commercial use is fine, including prints you sell on Etsy or at markets.

Which file formats are supported?

Images: JPG, PNG, SVG, WebP. Meshes: STL, OBJ, PLY, GLB, 3MF. CAD: STEP/STP. Output: STL, 3MF, OBJ, PNG renders.
